The new NATO battlegroup in Hungary was the first in the region to reach full operational capability

A year ago, after the Russian invasion on Ukraine, NATO defense ministers decided to create four new battlegroups in Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary. The combat group in Hungary was the first to achieve full operational capability - the Hungarian Defense Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky said today in Brussels.
