Polish Central Bank Keeps Key Interest Rate Unchanged

At its February meeting, the Monetary Policy Council decided to maintain the benchmark interest rate at the current level of 5.75% for the fourth consecutive months. The decision was in line with market consensus.

According to economists, possible reductions in interest rates in Poland may occur in the second half of the year. Their size is estimated to be between 50 and 75 basis points.
