For the first time, the U.S. government let hackers break into satellite in space. The Polish team "Poland Can Into Space" won the second place in the Hack-A-Sat 4 competition consisting in hacking the system of an American satellite. "Poland Can Into Space" won Hack-A-Sat 3 last year and placed second in Hack-A-Sat 1 and 2.

Five teams of international hackers were competing at the DEF CON cybersecurity conference in Las Vegas this weekend to remotely seize control of Space Force satellite Moonlighter, currently spinning in Earth’s low orbit.
