Áron Szilágyi once again won the Olympic title in the men’s individual sabre claiming Hungary’s first gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics. The victory meant Szilágyi became the first man ever to win three Olympic gold medals in an individual fencing discipline.

Szilágyi was also champion at London 2012 and Rio 2016.
