The People of Poland at War, a new book by Andrzej Chwalba is a pioneering synthesis of the history of Poland, 1914-1918, summing up 100 years of the work of historians on the period and outlining new research aims. 

Andrzej Chwalba is a professor at the Jagiellonian University. He has published 30 books in Poland, the USA, Germany, Czechia, Bulgaria, and Croatia, and holds 20 prizes and distinctions for his work in scholarship.
