The Hungarian Presidency of the Council of Europe begins

For the second time since becoming a member on 1990, Hungary has taken over the rotating chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (CoE) for six months, until 17 November. Péter Szijjártó, the new Chair of the Committee of Ministers and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Hungary,  presented the priorities of the Hungarian Presidency. These priorities include promoting the effective protection of national minorities, interreligious dialogue, „next-generation” and environmental challenges.
