Head of Polish diplomacy Radosław Sikorski in Prague: Visegrád still makes sense despite disagreements
Polityka

We will defend those norms that are violated by Russian aggression against Ukraine. This is our priority," announced today in the capital of Czech the head of Polish diplomacy, Radosław Sikorski. On the eve of the V4 foreign ministers' meeting, the heads of Polish and Czech diplomacy agreed that despite the differences between the Visegrád Group countries, cooperation in this format still makes sense. - We respect both Slovakia and Hungary and their right to independently define their positions. Europe does not consist only of Poland alone, nor of only the Czech Republics. Diplomacy is about convincing each other, said Radosław Sikorski in Prague.

According to Polish FM, V4 is a good forum for coordination in various areas, for example in agriculture or industry. "Where common denominators cannot be found, the V4 countries simply have to accept such a situation", Radosław Sikorski believes. He also stated that at the request of Hungary, the budget of the International Visegrad Fund will be increased.
