Turystyka

Hungarian and Polish passports are among the European Union’s best. They are also in the world's TOP-10 strongest travel documents, allowing Hungarians and Poles to enter 186 countries without a visa or with a visa that can be obtained immediately upon entry. According to Henley & Partners Hungarian, Polish, Greek and Canadian passports are in the eighth place in the global ranking. The passport of Czech Republic is currently ranked as sixth and Slovak as tenth.

The Henley Passport Index compares the visa-free access of 199 different passports to 227 travel destinations. Singapur is issuing the globe's best passports in 2023 (Singapur's passport provides visa-free entry to 194 countries). Japan is in the second place (192 countries). Germany, Italy, Spain and South Korea are tied for the third place (their documents open the doors to 191 states).

Hungarian and Polish passports are preceding even the United States. As of July 2023, holders of a United States passport may travel to 185 countries and territories without a travel visa, or with a visa on arrival.

An Afghan passport has once again been labelled by the index as the least powerful passport in the world, with its nationals only able to visit 26 destinations visa-free. The worst passports belong also to Iraqis and Syrians (29 countries welcome them), as well as Pakistanis, who can travel without visa only to 31 countries.
