PM Orbán: Hungary may have highest vaccination rate in EU by Easter

– I have nothing but bad news. The situation is that we are facing the most difficult two weeks of the entire epidemic, the entire epidemic we have experienced so far. Due to the appearance of new mutations, the number of infections is increasing intensively, and will continue to increase – the Hungarian Prime Minister said.

In the radio for Kossuth Rádió he also mentioned that delivery of the vaccines ordered by the EU appears even more sluggish than expected.
– Vaccines from the east are coming faster and in larger quantities. If we did not have Russian and Chinese jabs, we would be in big trouble – Viktor Orbán emphasized. He said also that the 2.5-2.6 million citizens who have recently registered can expect to receive their vaccinations by Easter, which may make Hungary first in the EU in terms of mass vaccination rates.
