Meeting of the Institute Council in its New Composition

On September 23, 2025, the first meeting of the Polish-Hungarian Cooperation Institute Council in its new composition took place.

During the session, the Council members elected the following authorities:

• Prof. Mirosław Filipowicz – Chair of the Council

• Prof. Andrzej Sadecki – Vice-Chair of the Council

• Dr. Grzegorz Gil – Secretary of the Council

The Director of the Institute presented the Council members with their appointments and introduced the previous activities as well as the planned thematic directions. The Council unanimously supported the thematic priorities: combating the oligarchization of the economy, disinformation, and propaganda.

The newly elected Council, as an advisory and consultative body of the Institute, will support programmatic, consultative, and expert activities, as well as indicate priority areas for research and analysis.

We thank all Council members for their readiness to cooperate and their commitment to the mission of the Institute. Together, we will develop a platform for dialogue and deepen knowledge of Polish-Hungarian relations in political, social, and cultural dimensions.
