The Hungarian men's handball team defeated Portugal 31-30 in the second round of the group stage of the partly national European Championship, on Sunday at the MVM Dome in Budapest. An exciting meeting between Poland and Belarus took place on Sunday evening in Bratislava. The Poles defeated Belarusians 29 to 20.
