– We will support each other among the Visegrad Group countries in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic - announced Elżbieta Witek, the Speaker of the Sejm (a lower house of the Polish Parliament) after the conference of the Speakers of the Parliaments of the V4 countries.

– The Visegrad Group (V4), comprising the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, will put forward at the EU forum its ideas for post-pandemic recovery – Polish parliamentary speaker Elżbieta Witek said after a V4 videoconference.

The meeting called by the parliament of Poland, which holds the V4 rotating presidency, also addressed the European Commission’s European Green Deal and the new Pact on Migration and Asylum, as well as current foreign policy challenges, including the situation in Belarus and the United States, and the potential accession of Western Balkan countries to the EU.
