Katalin Karikó – the Hungarian scientist behind the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine

“I always wanted to help people, to try and get something into the clinic" – said Katalin Karikó as quoted by Wired and added: “That was the motivation for me, and I was always optimistic. But to help that many people, I never imagined that. It makes me very happy to know that I’ve played a part in this success story.”
